This last Sabbath, April 11, Sarah and Sophie were baptized at Gladstone Park Church. They had been studying with Pastor Keith, who is from Hagerstown and also the youth Pastor Whitie from Hood View (sorry don't know his actual name!). They then had week of prayer with Pastor Sam Moreno last week and several of the girls were ready to do it! I had to hold them off a week! There wasn't time for family to plan to come but hopefully they will enjoy the pictures and also hearing all about it from the girls! It was a special day.

Family Time
We had some wonderful times last summer. Unfortunately, I knew they were the last times we would be together as a family, as my husband of now 19 years, had given up on our marriage. I was looking at these pictures today and reminded of the wonderful times we had last summer and fall, despite the all consuming and evil topic of divorce looming over us.

Life in the fast lane....
Another school year has begun! My kids are turning into actual adult-like people! What I mean is that they are bigger, more mature, and less like little kids every day! I know before I can say Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious 5 times, Maggie will be graduating from high school! How did life go by so fast?

Big Lake 2007
We had another great summer at Big Lake family camp. Several other friends went with their families. We were especially thrilled we didn't place last in the volleyball tournament!! Well we enjoyed great weather and great fellowship with our friends and staff who have also become friends over the past several years that we have been going.

Happy New Year
Another new year is upon us. I hope the new year brings health and happiness to everyone. May you keep your eyes on Jesus and your heart open to the love around you.
the first banquet
My Maggie has gone to her first banquet with her boyfriend Nathan. They were so cute and sweet! So much more than I was at that age. They are really so together and have so many great memories and such a bright future ahead of them.

The end of elementary school
I can't believe that my Maggie will be graduating from eighth grade in about 6 weeks. These past 8 years have gone by lightning fast. I know the next 4 years will be even faster. I can remember only bits and pieces of my 8th grade graduation, but I sure remember the feeling of that time. I had so many friends I had been in school with for many years. We were all together, all launched from the same place. Once in high school, everyone focused on their interests. This is the nice way of describing my high school experience. I know my daughter will enjoy her high school years. I just hope and pray she stays safe, stays close to Jesus, learns a lot, and has some good times. It will be memories that will influence the rest of her life.

Michele's Life
Welcome to 'Michele's Life'. Originally, I thought blog would be a site for the youth at my church, but it evolved into a site about my world! It has a a little of this and that, mostly stuff about my kids with some other stuff about life in general. God Bless and thanks for dropping by!
